In our 13th episode of the Kedoshim Initiative Podcast, we were excited to interview our fourth guest, Joe Spicer. Joe is a Christian comic writer and the creator of Biblical Proportions, Crazy 9 G.O.D., and more. He is also the CEO of the comic book company Starcross Comics, from which we have reviewed over 20 comic issues by various creators on The Xplanations YouTube channel. In this episode, we delve into Joe’s creative process behind his stories, the biblical inspiration and theology woven into his narratives, and discuss the challenges and joys of being a creator making gospel-infused entertainment. We also explore what keeps him going, even in the face of failure, as he has persevered through 20 years in the indie space.
